Those Lost

Panic, mayhem, chaos, despair

Arranged in the back of my mind like a burning match

Burning those I touch, destroying everything in its wake

The casualties building, but I don’t mind

I find beauty in the destruction of those around

Years I tried to cope with my fears

But I have learned that death is iminent

As I burn those around I lose a piece of myself

I feel lost in this empty world

Never knowing what my purpose is

Was I made to destroy those around me

How could this be what i was made for

As I ponder on these thought, I grow brighter

Illuminating the darkness within me

I begin to see that I am like many others

Wandering around the darkness to find you

The piece of me I thought I lost

The one I longed for those cold winter nights

When the spark had begun
