Those Monsters

We always say that we’ll never end up like those monsters

Those monsters that abused us

That lied to us

That manipulated us

Stabbed us in the back

What they did caused us to have bottled emotions,

we kept that anger, sadness, drought, disgust and all bottled up

Until one day we let it out only to notice that

I've become what I've tried to avoid my whole life.
