Those Scars
Those Scars
From His head to His toes
Covering His body
Gifts that cannot be returned
Those Scars
Making Him look rough
But still bieng tender-hearted
With the gentlest touch
Those Scars
Given to Him because of our sins
Taken without a complaint
Taken with a smile on his face
Those Scars
A testament to His life
Those nails through His hands
The sound of the whip
Hearing His cry through generations
He loved us so much
That he allowed himself to die and carry
Those Scars
