Those Things

I cling to those things

That make me feel

Alive.

Those things that let me know

I'm not so alone here.

Those songs,

Those quotes,

Those drawings,

Those books that keep my

Heart    b e a t i n g ...

Make me feel like I'm not

The only one going insane.

I couldn't,

Wouldn't

Live without

Those things that tie me

To everyone else.

Say all those things

I could never find the words for.

That give me hope

In a world so out for me

And all for itself.

Lub-dub lub-dub lub-dub

Those things that keep me

here.
