Those Things That Make You Tick

Loneliness is such a bitter-sweet word

Who else to you know better than yourself?

The more you're alone, the more you know

About what makes you tick.

Yet, what if there's things best unknown?

Skeletons in your closet best left unseen?

The more you know the deeper you go

Into the things that make you tick.

It's scary going into your subconcious

Knowing the things better left unkown

Thats why there's books, movies, TV

To escape from the things that make you tick.

So stare at the TV screen!

Let your eyes gaze upon a poem (look here)!

To assist you in ignoring

All the things that make you tick.
