Those Who Ride The Sun

This is the story of those who ride the sun.

They end very old and start off very young.

They have kind eyes to see,

ears to listen,

and voices to sing.

They're almost human, like you and I.

The only difference, just as simple as a lie.

They only live for one day, for one time, then they die.

They have infinite wisdom,

knowing everything from beginning to end.

They have beautiful voices

that can sing on without end.

They are amazing

they live on the sun and the moon,

and yet,

each shall live for only one day,

from midnight and until past noon.

They may carry with them gifts abounding, galore

But their lives are so short,

still they burn so bright.
