Thought

Thinking is what a life created

But a life without thought would be to take away necessity itself.

Life in the dark, no pondering, blind faith,

A pity.

Ignorance is bliss, but what is the point if you do not know what to believe

An empty, bleak being wandering blissfully with no grueling thoughts.

I want a war in my mind between my reality and the world’s.

I CRAVE living with thoughts twisting and painfully ebbing at my mind.

When I was ignorant, it felt like a plastic meadow.

Fake, lifeless. Hell.

A bleak existence yielding no result

Draining the very essence of what makes me human.

To those who hate to think, that is depressing,

Why don’t they, is it exhausting? Draining? Does it make them morose?

If so, it is more than illusioned joy,

The feeling of more than a glued smile and a blank mind

I have experienced the illusioned bliss of many,

But have found it a burden and my insides a field where emotions held no ground

And if I were to succumb again to the drug of ignorance,

I wish to slay the plastic meadow and be welcomed to the warzone of thought.
