Thought About Cherries

Smooth red with a tart of sweet

Thought about cream, whipped into a dream

Pondering aloud with a question...

What came first, the sweetness of passion

or

the memories of taste?

Some thoughts revolve around sex and pleasure

Overidden by the gurgles of a stomach

Poets try

Writers can be a bit boring, but it does not matter

as there are so many ways to think about cherries

for as with all the many thoughts filled with nice

the pits are forgotten; bitter; hard; reality.
