A Thought On My Bed

Thoughts

flow

In and out of range.

Some I catch and think upon

To ponder.

Laying in dreams

The order wrong

I took paper and

Pen.

Quick flashes

Fly through my mind,

And my ink

Catches it.

My pen draws letters

To encase the words

Trap them on the page to

Discover.

It pours through and out,

Turbulent or soft

To give a glance at what my hands made.

It flowed.

Eventually there is calm,

And I pick up the paper to read.

And I realize what my mind has thought

And where I might meet -

The thought,

Which turned into a word

To become a verse to consider,

Away.

Fly

And
