The Thought of You

As her smile turns into a frown,

As her tears flow down,

As her heart slowly begins to break,

The thought of you ever leaving her-

Is the worst thing she could ever take.

As her breath slowly drifts away,

As her hearbeat goes astray,

As her soul drifts into the afterlife,

The bloody blade that slid across her throat moments ago-

Is ending her precious life.

Because...

As her smile turned into a frown,

As her tears flowed down,

As her heart slowly began to break,

The fact of you leaving her-

Was truly the worst thing she could ever take.
