Thoughtless families

Years of thoughtless love,

Bombarded with homes,

Encouraged to not speak out of turn,

Called a liar, hypocritical and selfish.

Lord give me the strength,

Show me the way,

Let me know that its ok,

Guide me towards realization,

Unlock my heart,

And fill it with your love.

I use to question,

Was it always my fault?

That I wasn’t good enough,

To get adopted by the Millers,

But then I realize,

They weren’t the family I was meant to be with,

It’s the Stokes that I am meant to be with forever,

My biological dad says don’t make decisions lightly

I never got it until now,

I took it a different way,

Don’t just go with the flow

Describe. Express. Convey.
