Thoughts
Your familiar eyes
Drowned in mine
Those pretty skies
Remind me of you,
Innocent, bright
And full of surprises
At night
Your my light,
Always on my mind
But I wonder,
Have I ever crossed yours?
I’m too nervous to ask
“Can we go and dine?”
maybe? though
To just call you mine
I run and scream to my friends,
About you
Do you do the same?
Or about someone new.
I can talk about you for hours
Maybe even years
But I wonder
Would you ever do the same?
