Thoughts
Thoughts come to all of us when we are alone,
we cannot escape their abysmal questions,
their piercing doubts,
their dark suggestions,
their cold insults,
their shocking hate,
their demeaning words,
but we can control them,
for they are ours,
and we, simply, are.
