Thoughts
Thoughts, memories, constantly flowing
Through my troubled mind, never slowing
Some say, the 'symptoms' are showing...
They say they see pain
They say they see sadness
They think I refrain
(from being myself) they think I've stopped my socialness
They say I hold myself back
That I'm different from before...
And I tend to stress so much my head feels it's gonna crack
And sometimes I wonder, how can I go on any more...
That thought is one I dread
I always push it out of my troubled head
I remind myself we're meant to be-
I'm meant for you,
You're meant for me
I'm here for you
You're here for me
And I love you- and you love me.
My worries... I forget them all.
When in my ear, my name softly you call
Your calm, soothing touch, your warm, strong embrace
The way you slowly, and gently, caress my face
And when you hold me close, and tight
It reminds me of how I plan to spend future nights
With your arms around me, as I lay sleeping by your side
Our lips touching, our legs intertwined
And hopefully before this, I've become your wife
Knowing that this will last longer than this life...
In the end nothing else matters.
It's you and me
Together, forever, for eternity
The serenity, of those precious moments your lips meet mine
Let's me know everything is, and will be fine
(and knowing I'm your's... And being able to call you mine)
These simple, timeless moments of pure, sweet bliss
Are those exciting, yet peaceful moments,
Of my true love's perfect kiss.
