THOUGHTS

Alone with my own thoughts,

Hungry to change,

Thirsty for the pain.

I think of the words-

Words that hurt.

Liar, cheater, manipulator.

Every syllable leaves its burn.

I turn around

And know that I forgive you.

Forgive you for the hunger,

Forgive you for the thirst,

It's not you, it's me.

I'm the one at fault.

I'm the liar, cheater, manipulator.

I will be until my heart stops.

But, I will wrestle it.

I will cut off its air,

And throw it to the stars

Maybe my story will give hope to who we all are

Bodies of mistakes

Mouths of lies

Hands of cheaters

Left here to rot

Alone, with our messed up thoughts....
