Thoughts

To have hands that organize, build, and mend

A job most women pass to men today.

And the silence from wise men, “Could she blend?”

Yes, doing math and work without dismay.

Electrical Engineering Degree,

A profession that may cost some money.

In fact, I am distraught to a decree

And the solution is, “Stay calm, honey.”

At some point, I have to collect my thoughts.

At some point, the sexist remarks are piled.

Then, in the meantime, I will fix the plots

Of the males who will work with me. “Thoughts mild?”

Very well like peace wise men presented

Well men, like family, “Who's resented?”
