The Thoughts and Prayer of the Depressed

I sit and watch the world go by, Wondering why I must cry. Cry for all the pain and anger that's inside, The emotions I must hide. My heart beaten and broken on the ground Can anyone hear the painful sound? How long must I wait to be seen? Sometimes I think about You, Wondering what did I do? Why did You have to go, Leaving me all alone. You were supposed to stay, Didn't You here my prayer? Why did You leave, Wasn't I good enough to please You? I look down to the blade on the floor, Knowing I will be changed forevermore. The blade could end it all, End all the pain I've been through. Would anyone miss me if I was gone? Would anyone care if I was gone? God on high, please listen to me now. Take the pain and anger from within me now. Help me to over come all the struggles in my life, Help to make all things right. Hold me and keep me safe, Protect me from all the pain. Let me fall asleep tonight, In hopes that everything will be alright.

There isn't much to say about me. I write poems involving the human mind when it's in deep depression and dealing with suicidal thoughts. I know it's a topic not many people would like to read, but the voices of those unheard NEED to be heard.
