Thoughts In a Dark Room

He smiles, but sorrow dances in his eyes.

He laughs, yet the tears aren't meant for joy.

He's smart, but second thoughts cloud his judgements.

He gained composure, but those impulses haunts him.

He's understanding, but still not understood.

He's awake, yet he longs for sleep.

Lost, but maybe one day he'll find his place.

A smile a day keeps the pain locked in a cage, deep inside yourself until you

can't hold it anymore.

Tried to cry, but there's no tears no more

Looked for the light in the tunnel, but I can't see no more

I'm still a coward, yet the massculinity embedded in me forbids me to be afraid.

I just want to go back to the way things were before

Back to the days where I was at the age of four

That's when I was the one they adored.

That's when love was in a place

powerful enough to warp space

perceptions more than a phase.

The need to escape, pputs this mind in a state greeted

with doses of rage.

And with a twist of fate, He confiscates the desires to change.

Once the Darkness comes in, It's hard to let Him out.
