The thoughts in her head

She smiles from ear to ear. She's a social butterfly they may say. The way she walks, with her head held high and the way she looks others in the eye. Oh no ,she has no problems, that I could see. That is exactly how I want to be. She is involved in so many things, this girl stays on the scene. But what I didn't know was the darkness inside, the cry for help that was being denied. The thoughts in her head that was telling her to go. How could we fail to know. The feeling of depression within her soul, the sadness that over took her. How could she mask it so well and behind close door that is when the darkness prevailed.
