Thoughts of the Mind

Waves,

crash against one another,

like enimies in warships.

much like the thoughts racing through my mind;

"Fix it."

"Make it better."

"Be prettier."

"Be skinnier."

"More makeup."

"Don't say that!"

"Such an idiot."

"Fit in with the rest."

"Hide who I am"

"They won't like me."

Waves,

Thoughts against one another,

like enimies in warships.

Bringing me down

to match the rest,

to fit in with them,

or to be myself,

to stand out,

to be abnormal,

to rise.
