Thoughts In My Head

Typical high school drama

Rumors spread like wild fires and leaves friendships in the dusty remains

Everyone points the finger but yet no one is to blame

Friendships start to fall apart

Then slowly fade away

Sometimes todays not worth living and tomorrow is just another day

Why do we hold things inside?

Especially when were tired of all the hurt and lies

We hold on to past memories

And are forced to relive them through our own eyes

Why are we forced to live this terrible dream
?

The one when friends always seem to leave

No one ever seems to have your back

Its you against the world and there’s no turning back

Why am I forced to walk this path alone
?

Its lonely and dark so no one can come along

Why do I always hold things inside?

Why don’t I ever speak my mind
?

Why do your feelings matter more than mine?

Why is my voice the hardest to find?

Maybe its because I truly do care

About their feelings and whether their still there

Maybe I don’t want to see them walk away

Just enjoy old times and forget the worries of each day

I wish I could go back to the way things use to be

Make things seem real simple to me
