Thoughts in my Head

I do not fear the thoughts in my head

Though most find a prison in their mind.

I live in a world of things unsaid.

Intellect separates us from the dead

While reason protects from acting blind,

I do not fear the thoughts in my head.

Places other than my brain I dread

My mind is a castle I hid behind

I live in a world of things unsaid.

I do not enjoy going to bed

As my thoughts are then confined

I do not fear the thoughts in my head.

I ponder the things I’ve read

And new worlds design

I live in a world of things unsaid.

When the past is deary I look ahead

For in my mind, I do find;

I do not fear the thoughts in my head

I live in a world of things unsaid.
