The Thoughts of My Heart

I awake each day, each thought the same Your smile echos through my mind Your smile replayed again and again, Your eyes shine bright, gleam, and shimmer I take you all in- My heart beating faster My breath coming in short, sharp bursts I don't know what to do I fallen for you And life couldn't get much better Except for maybe this- If I were to hold your hand Just once, to see how it felt Or wrapped you in my arms so close Our heartbeats would melt into one I ponder and I think Just what must I do To win such a fair maiden's hand? To call her "mine" To make her understand Just exactly the thoughts of my heart Such beauty as yours- Such radiance, such grace- Fill my heart with such longing To know that you care, To know you need me Just like I need you, mi querida
