Thoughts of My Heart

When thoughts of the heart are absent in thy solitude,
The never ending search will remain never ending,
And opposite thoughts of thy heart may intrude,
On the path to find thy meaning.
I yearn for intelligence,
That in which I want the most I have the least,
For I am a fool due to my benevolence,
But in problem does my mind fail to cease.
As for my heart, I have not yet found,
But not due to lack of thought nor capability,
It is the thought to which my heart is bound,
That my dreams will not be my reality.
The only one that can live in thy heart is thyself,
For occupants will come and go,
But they do not make up, nor replace thyself,
As love then leaves, it is uninhabited and lacking hope.
As I grow older the path does come to be pronounced,
I know what I need do to be able to fully see,
And I in my endeavors will soon be profound,
For I will always be the one in which I dream to be.
