Thoughts that occur last
Only if my memories could take shape
Then I would be holding you again in my embrace
Your words still beckon me so
Though only heard what seems like seconds ago
The distance between us is so vast
You seem to only be a thing of the past
I miss that smile of yours
It was something I had come to adore
Now lying here alone in bed
I'm off to greet the dreams I'll soon regret
