The Thoughts of One Minority

Sitting. Thinking.

Stuck in my own thoughts of solitude confinement.

Living day by day, night by night with thoughts of uncertainty beyong my reach.

At the age of 16, I have now become just another statistic in the eyes of the world, in which they pierce me with the fear of an unknown future.

Feeling incapable and deprived of potential and knowlege I once possessed.

Yet, displaying an impression to others of something less sinister to the true feelings that I have no choice, but to endure within myself.

To many, my opinions matter none, my efforts don't count.

I am thrown into a world of confusion with little to no guidance.

Hoping that one day my light will shine bright amongst others who have conquered the feeling of inadequacy.

Hoping that I will soon gain the reassurance that not only will I become relevant in the eyes of others, but will also bring significance.

The thoughts of one minority.
