Thoughts that never became words

What happens to thoughts that never become words? They stay thoughts. Whether they are lingering in the back of your mind, Or at the tip of your tongue ready to escape with every word you speak, They stay thoughts. Unspoken words will never be heard or understood by another consciousness than yourself. There is a never ending list of thoughts I wish I would have said. Ideas I wish I would have voiced, Opinions I wish I would have shared, Or even messages I typed but never sent. In the end, they all stayed as thoughts to me and only me. One thing unspoken thoughts have taught me is to always take the chance. Whether it’s telling someone you like them, Texting someone you have never talked to before, Or reaching out to someone to make sure they’re okay, It’s always better to put words to our thoughts than to keep them in our mind. Words are powerful and can be used in so many ways, But cannot be used at all if thoughts stay as thoughts.
