Thoughts of the Universe
Have you ever looked out your window, and wondered if there was someone out there for you? There probably is someone. Some people were meant to be free and alone, but others were meant to have that special someone close to them. I have always wondered why we humans try and find this special someone only to be disappointed, and lost. You find a person, and they prove that love isn’t always what it seems. All of this disappointment, and emptiness, and made me question if we are even supposed to find someone. It makes me question if we are supposed to even communicate and help each other. Yes, helping, sharing, and spreading kindness is always a form of being a good person but why? Who created these rules? Who decided that helping and talking to each other is good? Who decided that there should be a thing as learning?
All of these questions swarming around you, nipping your brain waiting for an answer when there is none. Not everything has an answer and that’s what is wrong with the world. Everyone wants to have an answer to their problems, and they have never considered these things. What if we weren’t meant to have an answer, and we were meant to spend our lives wondering the possibilities. Many people in this world currently worship something, either an idol or a god. Jesus. That is one simple word and the power it has nobody can question. I for one do not know if I believe in Jesus, but of course, the only reason he is something we believe in is because of answers. We want answers. In the earlier times, people created gods, and idols as an explanation as to why there are storms, and luck, and food, and the world around them. What if… what if there really was a god? What if he/she is up there slapping his forehead, watching us? Wonder why we created, curse words, racism, sexism, slavery, murder, etc. Why did we? Why did we create fighting and killing? WHY? The only thing these things have ever done for this world is cause chaos.
Sometimes I wonder why god, has created us. He must have known that we would kill, and hurt each other. But I think he also knew some of us would grow and become better people. It’s like the saying, “Sometimes you have to put your toes in the water in order to attract the bloody sharks.” - Enola Holmes. You have to put people on earth so that they can learn, hurt, and grow.
When you look at an ant do you ever wonder how they feel? Being squished, trapped, and tortured every second of their lives? You may not care or notice them, but they have feelings too. Every single time I see an ant I wonder how does it feel to be so small? To have no say in the universe. One day we could get rid of all of the ants, and I think they are very aware that things are changing in this world. Maybe in a year, we might have no grass or dirt and then the ants would all die. They must feel so helpless. I can't help but wonder thinking about ants if we are ants. That might some preposterous, but think about it. What if there is someone bigger, and stronger than us, and our earth, sun, moon, and other plants are just a speck of dust? What if this “creature” didn't even know we exist? Or maybe it does and that is why we have global warming, fires, meteors, and the solar eclipse. What if everything this “creature” does, changes our world?
