Thoughts Of You
Every time i leave you standing, your heart is slowly feeling with regret,
I'm keeping a distance from you, that's what keeps you crying late at night,
you're missing my touch, the taste of my kiss, i keep leaving you wishing for more.
I pretend to push you away, our love a tv drama, it'd be kind of funny if camera's started to flash. Because, i know that your cheeks will turn a pinkish red, hiding behind me, clenching at my shirt, i know you'll be embarrassed and i would turn around to caress away all the feelings, of doubt, pain, sorrow, and loneliness, and even the embarrassment.
Unknowingly, you don't know the truth, I may look like i'm in my own world full of happiness and no regrets. But, the truth is...I'm always thinking about you, i can't seem to stop thinking about you, i remember the feeling of your lips touching mine, so soft, so small, the gentleness you leave behind; it warms me deep inside. I remember your embrace, the way you held me, the way you said you loved me. Your protecting words, i remember our last time together, the time when we laughed and cried, things beginning to drift us apart, new schools, lost family, new homes, and new friends, this is what we blame, these are our reasons, for not seeing another. But, the truth is that we have the power, and we're just making excuses because, maybe it's hard to face each other, the nervousness, the pain, and the embarrassing lovely feelings, it'll be hard not knowing what to say, only smiling like idiots, what's that about? I suppose, it's true love my dear, Most don't believe, but sometimes, you have to believe what you can't see, because hidden beneath the wind has our song feeds the creek, our love blossoms like a beautiful diamond flower, shinning with pure and bright happiness, but the color of tinted blue, signing for a bit of sadness.
But, I love you, my sweet Serenity that fills my Eternity, thoughts of you.
