Thoughts Of A Young Lady
I wanna experience love. The real kind. I don't want to make it ... At least not yet.
I want someone else to know. Know my heart and really listen.
Cause when I speak yes people listen, but not one has really heard me. Heard my heart.
Some guys they notice that my heart is open and true.
They try to fool it, sprinkle it with kindness and flirt it too their beds.
But my heart is no joke. It's wiser than it lets on. It takes note on everything.
It is no fool and knows how to draw its own path to clarity.
But I don't want to walk it alone anymore, I want someone who knows too.
I want someone to love. It's my turn.
