For Thousand Years

You entered my deserts like the first rain of July, And your August downpours filled my heart, void of love, With emotions it had never felt. No, I didn't wait a thousand years for you, I didn't even know about your existence to be true , But I will love you for a thousand years, And when they're over, I will make this promise again to you. The way September, screamed your heart to me, A thunder of affection and ardour, echoed through my silence, A heart full of love, was all, my empty heart could see. October nurtured the, growth of a newer self, a self drenched by the rains of devotion, For endearment that it had felt. The months followed, Cold November made us strong, December made an ending bearable , And January gave me a beginning so beautiful, I had never expected, The way February would be so courteous. The months following still wait blank, For us to fill them with the colours of our love. These eight months define the precap of my story, After four months when July again pours its rain in my heart, I promise to write another story, A story of our love, all over again. Yes, I didn't wait a thousand years for you, If my pen ever writes of love, for the next thousand years, it would only write 'your' name. And when they're over, I will make this promise again to you!
