For thousands like her
If what I wear
Matters the most then,
let my charming soul
be alone ......
She said this, I heard her but ignored it
Now, she lies beside
questioning why would she lie
she knew
I’m going to hate it
or more specifically myself
when
she’d die
And now I realise what those words meant
well, it’s too late
and now the girl’s dead
from now on , I’m going to kill myself slowly
under the mountain of guilt until the world ends
not yours but mine
I’ll think I could’ve saved you
I’d stare at the sky asking you to come back
but we both know it’s too dark to return
‘I’ll get a chance’ I’ll say to myself
to go back in time and tell you that
I’m there for you
But Alas! Time does not permit
I guess I’ll have to wait
dying a little every moment
yearning death
so that, I can meet you
look into your eyes and tell you
’I love you and I can’t let you go’
I know if live long enough
I’ll let you go and move on from thoughts that
include you
but I’m afraid that when I do so
I’ll start accepting a world without you
which is scary
even when I think about it
overcoming these fears
I know it will be hard
people say that I’ll eventually find my path
I am not a brave soul
Not like you
I can’t let my spirit kindle with death’s due
Years after your untimely demise
After, time has healed me with it’s magical vibe
I feel like a man emerging like a sun which
Rised after the dull
And today I can say with hope and life inside that
I respect that the choice was yours to
give away your life
still having a little guilt after the ride
which I assume I deserve to live with I say
that yesterday I didn’t save you from what lied ahead at that time
well, these thoughts they still confuse me.
there is only one thing that I can say headstrong that
don’t worry about me I’ll bring myself no harm
I’ve accepted and I’ll let you know
don’t be sorry
‘I love you and I let you go’
