Thousands of Words

There are thousands of words
I could say to you
Thousands of words that have crossed my mind
Words that stay bottled inside
Words that I try desperately to hide
To ignore
I see you passing by
But I don't do a thing to stop you
To even try to say hi, hello, how are you?
What is wrong with me?
Why can't I just say these things?
Thousands of words that I can never say
Can never possibly tell you
I wish I wasn't so afraid
So fearful of rejection
of what you will say
Thousands of words cross my mind
Hundreds of thousands of words
But there are only three that I need to say
I need to tell you
I love you

MissPoetic

I'm just a girl who wants to write poetry and share it with others, with the hope that it might inspire someone someday to write their own. :P
