Thread 2.0
Surrounding and covering me
Nudging my mind
Calling, whispering all around me
The horrible what ifs
Tying to drive my mind to insanity
Begging me to just let go
That it wont hurt
But I resist
Resist the temptation of falling further into darkness
after all
I am already holding the thread
The small silvery thread
that leads to the surface
My thread of hope
Hope that I will not give up
For if I can gather my strength
I will make it out
Of this dark hole
Into the sunlight into my freedom
So I will hold
Hold onto my thread of hope
