Threat

"Don't give them a reason to shoot you"

My hair, my skin color, and the way I talk are targets

I will always be seen as threat

To my family I am a blessing

To the white people around me I will always be a threat

I am seen as a threat

We fight back with a purpose

Equality is what we want, but something we may never get
