Three birds
Three birds.
And six eyes.
Here’s the story of the three bird’s lives.
One bird on top,
Free and happy who can fly.
It sows in the air,
Without a care,
And doesn’t stop,
Flying to top to top in trees,
It’s name is free.
The second is cautious and aware,
On the branch it watches carefully and still.
Waiting there.
It keeps a keen eye,
It’s always free to fly
Although it just sits there,
Watching and ready to call for any threats and fears.
This bird is beware.
The third is locked in a cage,
Lonely and sad,
With its feathers that fade.
It cries,
On its feet are chains,
Locked inside,
Only free of its wings.
Trapped and tamed.
This bird is named cage.
