Three Little Words

Three little words echo in my sleep.

Three little words bring sweet dreams.

Three little words curl into a smile.

Three little words send my heart pounding.

Three little words play on repeat.

Three little words conjure nightmares.

Three little words turn into a growl.

Three little words make my blood freeze.

Three little words, I came to trust.

    Three little words, I memorized.

Three little words, I craved every moment.

Three little words, I have butterflies.

Three little words, I can't stop shaking.

Three little words, I wish I could forget.

Three little words, I want this guilt to stop.

Three little words, I feel sick again.

Three little words shouldn't bring tears and waves of fear too.

And not those three little words: "I love you".
