Threshold

You are standing on the threshold of the

doorway

you can see your way through

The only way to get to the end is to

go straight through

Go, be brave

You have been in the dark for to long

So you see the invisible line in your head and you

jump over it.

Who cares, right?

You took a leap of faith and now you

can see the end

of your begining

you walk across the room only to

pass the threshold of the past

and the new threshold of the beginning

of your future.

You see the light and you walk towards it.

Don't put your hand in the fire, but

this was not fire, it was light

beautiful and free so

you

continue on until the only

threshold

that is left is the one

you have yet to cross.

So you cross it and that is the end.

There are only so many thresholds after

you see the light

that you can cross until

the light

is no longer burning and

that light in the window has been put out.

Until you wonder home alone and cross the threshold of your door

and you turn the lights on

and even though the room is lit

the lights have not come on.
