Threshold; Brave New World
Ships are about to set sail
Full of memories
Of perspective
And loss. And life well lived.
We live as we die
Human
And faulty
And autocorrected.
Eulogized; Harmonized
Vibrating across generations
Attempting to set up shop
In the land of no opportunities
Mistakenly labeled:
"Free, only a dollar an hour!"
Instead of
"Take a risk, we couldn't care less"
This doorway
Or broken window (perspective)
Shows not the path I should
Or have been told to take.
