Thrive

Lately, I've been thinking

Of what makes someone them.

Though each of us is different,

We're all a bit the same.

We come from different backgrounds,

We got a different start,

But looking at each other,

We see all lives are hard.

My struggles are unique,

And I face them different ways,

But just like everybody,

I face them every day.

Somebody told me once,

That we all struggle to survive,

But every 1 in 100

Will struggle, then they'll thrive.

I thrive in my weakness,

It makes me try my best

It takes every ounce of my being

To pass each weekly test.

But I know that I can do it,

And I know that I'm not wrong,

Because as I thrive within my weakness,

I know that I am Strong.
