Throne of the Broken

"Why listen,

to something so sad?"

Thats what they always ask,

And it just makes me mad.

I listen to this,
To know I'm not alone,
In feeling this pain,
And sitting on this throne.

The throne of the broken,
The throne of the bruised,
The throne of those,
Who just feel used.

We want to know,
That others understand,
That this isnt the life,
That we had planned.

It't not our choice,
To be so depressed,
Not our choice,
To want eternal rest.

So don't ask us why,
Don't tell us "Be happy"
All it will do,
Is make us feel crappy.
