Through The Eyes of A Child

Vulnerable, scared Unsure of what lied ahead But, I dared Not ask why, Why you put us through such pain Was it me? For years I have lived with these questions of uncertainty Deeply rooted within me. And yet, you still don't hear And are still not here To explain Why bother? My coping mechanisms with Him Are well worth my future gain.
