Through the Frozen Glass

Feel the air
The air she breathed
The air she breathed at the age of sixteen
Roses turned white, then were painted red
At the sight of spring,
Winter came to an end.
Ice froze her lips,
Her eyes unable to see
Then spring thawed her out,
At the age of sixteen
