Through a Girl's Eyes
I'm the shade of gray you never see,
the glass half empty, half full depends on your view,
I'm the girl who sits and cries unhappily,
waiting to see what I can make of you.
The only one of us who has been broken,
Darkness, I myself do not even understand my pain,
You hold my hand, an appreciation of my token,
you have my whole heart locked up in your chain.
Fact: I don't hate you I'm in love with you,
at the times we avoid and don't at all speak.
Just listen to what I say, it'll remind you too
the answer that the though of you makes my body weak.
You're the boy I think about night after night,
the one I love the guy in my sight.
