Through The Looking Glass
Through the looking glass you peer.
You see bodies with faces.
Judging by their reputations.
The pregnant girl you label as “slut,” was raped.
She is 14 years old, with no home, and no baby’s father.
The boy with long hair who seems creepy, could have straight A’s.
He has no encouragement, so he thinks, “Why bother?”
The girl who seems to have it all is struggling with a drug addiction.
Her straight A’s, 4.0 GPA, and perfect appearance hide the high she lives for.
Stop and look at whats around you.
Misunderstood, misjudged, and misinterpreted.
Each person needs help in more than just their English class.
Take some time to see, the looking glass can warp your view.
