Through the Night

I used to have a light that shined

like the brightest star on a cloudless night

I think it slipped away from me in a dream

He used to hold me in him arms til I fell asleep

But one morning I woke up without him around me

Dull, Dark pain, a blackhole where my heart was

Empty space, stars don't shine anymore

Red pills became supernovas of great light

I thought I had found my light

Turns out I'm still traveling through the night
