Through the Rabbit Hole (Alice in Wonderland)

Falling deeper and deeper it seemed to be,

An optical illusion she came to see,

With a watch spinning round and round,

Leads to a darkening light yearning to be found,

Caught in a purple haze gleaming through the sky,

Trapped by a forgiving tree who wants her not to pass by,

Back and forth the tug of war goes,

Facing daunting tasks the path only she knows,

A madhatter, a caterpillar, a rabbit, a cat pleading her to stay,

"I Must Go Back" are the words she must convey,

"This World's Not Real" perhaps she thought,

Though, more interesting than the world she was brought,

Through the rabbit hole she found to climb,

To the place she found truly sublime
