Through These Eyes of Frustration.
Everybody telling me pray for em'.
But who really praying for me ya see my family say that they praying for me.
As far as my eyes can see but wait my people told me to wait for em'.
Looked to the sky but I still feel blind cause in my mind
all this time i've been wasting on waiting for things to happen,
I could be making money off rapping now tell me how i'm spose to wait for em'.
All my life I been doubted depression done sprouted.
my momma out it,
out a house and her judgment real clouded.
How i'm spose to wait my pops is calling he keeps on saying i'm blessed,
I mean I know it but most times I can't feel it over the stress,
still I believe in God I just don't really know how i'm gone wait,
my momma called me sounding weak know she ain't ate so tell me how i'm spose to wait...
Cause when they throw my name in the air it's for debate like he could be great.
Miscommunications and fabrications involved.
Making me feel like I don't wanna be that involved.
Been inside my head stuck while tryna find a resolve,
snapped back checked my phone and had days on end of missed calls.
Knew my mom was going through it at times she called it would hurt
how can I wait for em' with every verse my feelings disperse.
If I had a dollar for every time I was told to pray,
my whole family both sides would be living well off today,
how can I wait for em' when everything inside of my mind,
is telling me you gotta grind gotta leave some people behind,
no senese of crying out to em' all they can give you's their word,
no senese of talking though I wanna be heard so tell me how i'm spose to wait-
so many things on my plate I hardly ever speak of,
so many things on my mental hoping my pencil keeps up,
if I do make it I promise i'll reach ya!
My favorite preacher preaching to me to become a leader how i'm spose to wait for em'.
