Through You.

I'm taking snapshots of the truth and waiting for the lies to develop in front of me.

I hear lullabies when I browse through Polaroids of your captured moments.

I can't stop dreaming of your narcoleptic smile.

In the land of gods and monsters, she was an angel.

Blessing the damned with your presence, true beauty is present.

They corrupted you.

Planted promises deep in the soil of your heart. Watered with apologies.

Doubts began to bloom and soon insecurities grew like vines on abandoned rooftops.

This love was vacant but found a way to fill it with roots of your past and expectations of the present.

You planted Gardens of standards that I failed to meet.

I picked a flower for every sorry and gave you bouquets of mistakes that smelled Like promises.

You're never coming back.
