Through Your Eyes

Through your eyes I see now,

I see what you saw

what our world shows us can be raw.

But its through your eyes I choose to see,

different motives for living,

I find what makes me who I want to be.

Some live to be heard,

others to be looked upon,

and others work endlessly for an unattanable perfection.

For those who fight for things such as these,

lose who they really are in the fight of every day.

No longer just existing,

Because they have so much they could miss.

But through your eyes I choose to see,

what been put in front of me.

I take the land I was given,

and will carry on the tradition.

Endless days are what I live for now,

picking up the pace I'll have it made.

For I know that the work I do has a meaning,

and I know you used to do the same.
